The New York State Bar Association endorsed the Medical Aid in Dying bill, a legislation proposed by 84 co-sponsors, following a comprehensive review conducted by a dedicated task force. The bill mirrors that currently in place in ten other states as well as Washington D.C.. It includes safeguards and protective measures against any form of coercion.
